Of the five listed above, however, it is the best app and is a good backup. EBuddy is more reliable in terms of actually receiving IMs, but it crashes frequently, and is VERY slow on startup. IM+ and verbs are equally flakey, but they're not as expensive so the purchases weren't a total loss. Beejive only receives about 3/4 of the messages that were actually sent. I use IM primarily for Gtalk, so I can check the chat history in gmail with the IM app i'm using. It doesn't crash as frequently as the other clients do, but it constantly misses messages. ![]() Beejive was the biggest disappointment, considering the price. Save for Kik, i've used all of those IM apps extensively and found them to be extremely unreliable.
